About

I believe there are three types of editors: the educated, the experienced, and the gifted. I fall somewhere in these three.

As a zealous reader, turned writer, it was only natural that I would evolve to the next level editing.

From as far back as I can remember (and trust me, I go back half a century), I've had a knack for finding a typo or the ability to rearrange sentences.  I'm able to see what needs correcting with very little effort, as if the mistakes magically turn to bold and jump off the page into my lap. I guess you would call this part the gift.

I offer real-time experience after spending 30 years as an executive assistant working with CEOs of various corporations, where editing business letters, proposals, corporate presentations, and financial filings were a daily occurrence where grammar, proofreading, attention to detail and letter perfect presentations were a must.

Five years ago, I founded and continue to run
V-And-E-Services, a virtual assistant company, where I was awarded the prestigious honor of Master Virtual Assistant (MVA).

I'm Brainbench certified in written English and have taken several years of continuing education in writing and editing.

My ability to study and dissect every sentence and my insatiable appetite for reading and absorbing as many reference resource books as I can find, makes me the editor you can trust.
