About
I believe there are three types of editors: the
educated, the experienced, and the gifted. I fall somewhere in these three.
As a zealous reader, turned writer, it was
only natural that I would evolve to the next level—editing.
I've always had a knack for finding a typo or
the ability to rearrange sentences. I'm able to see what needs
correcting with very little effort, as if the mistakes magically turn to
bold and jump off the page into my lap. I guess you would call this my
gift.
I offer real-time experience after spending 30
years as an executive assistant working with CEOs of various corporations,
where editing business letters, proposals, corporate presentations, and
financial filings were a daily occurrence where grammar, proofreading,
attention to detail and letter perfect presentations were a must.
I am the recipient of several editing awards.
See my Portfolio Page.
Ten years ago, I founded and continue to run
V And E Services, a virtual
author's assistant company, where I was awarded the prestigious honor of Master
Virtual Assistant (MVA) and Master Virtual Author's
Assistant (MVAA).
My ability to study and dissect every sentence and
my insatiable appetite for reading and
absorbing as many reference resource books as I
can find, makes me the editor you can trust.
